Upon Arrival: We highly recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This gives you a peaceful buffer to transition from the bustle of your day. You won't feel rushed and can take a moment to settle in. During this time, we will ask you to complete our comprehensive client intake form. This confidential form is a crucial step that allows your therapist to understand your specific needs, goals, any allergies, medical conditions, or areas of concern. This information is vital for us to tailor the service specifically to you, ensuring both safety and maximum effectiveness. Once your form is complete, we invite you to enjoy a complimentary cup of our specially blended herbal tea in our serene relaxation lounge, allowing your mind and body to begin unwinding before your treatment even starts.

For Facial Appointments: To allow your esthetician to perform the most accurate skin analysis and ensure the best possible product penetration, it is ideal to arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. However, we completely understand that this is not always possible. If you are coming from work or another engagement, please do not worry. Your esthetician will begin your service with a thorough cleansing process to remove all makeup and impurities. Please be aware that extensive makeup removal may slightly reduce the time available for other aspects of the facial, such as massage. In the 24-48 hours before your facial, we also suggest avoiding any strong at-home treatments, such as aggressive exfoliants or retinoids, to prevent potential skin sensitivity.

For Body Treatments: Preparation for a body treatment, such as a massage or body wrap, is wonderfully simple: just come as you are. Our priority is your complete comfort and dignity. Your therapist is professionally trained in proper draping techniques, ensuring that you are securely covered at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed. You will be able to undress to your level of comfort in the privacy of the treatment room. Wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your appointment can also enhance your feeling of relaxation when you change back after your service. We also recommend being well-hydrated before and after any body treatment to help support the detoxification process.

We understand that life can be unpredictable and plans may need to change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to all of our clients as well as to our dedicated therapists, who are compensated for their valuable time and expertise.

24-Hour Notice for Cancellation or Rescheduling: We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This courtesy allows our front desk team the necessary time to contact another client who may be on our waiting list and hoping for an opening. To make a change, you can simply call our studio directly, respond to your confirmation email, or use our online booking portal. An appointment scheduled for 3:00 PM on a Friday, for example, would need to be cancelled or rescheduled by 3:00 PM on Thursday at the latest to avoid any fees.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than the requested 24 hours' notice, or failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment (a "no-show"), significantly impact our ability to serve other clients and our therapists' schedules. In these instances, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the value of the scheduled service(s) will be charged to the credit card on file that was used to secure the appointment. This fee helps us to partially compensate our therapists for the time they had specifically reserved for you.

Emergencies and Illness: We recognize that sudden illness or genuine emergencies are unavoidable. If you find yourself in such a situation, please contact us as soon as you possibly can. We will handle these rare occurrences with compassion and on a case-by-case basis. To help you remember your appointments, we provide courtesy email and/or text message reminders 48-72 hours in advance. We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation, which allows us to maintain a high standard of service for everyone.

Gratuity, or a tip, is not included in the listed prices for our services or packages. We have chosen to keep service pricing and gratuity separate to allow this gesture to remain at the complete discretion of our clients. It is a personal expression of appreciation for the service and care you have received.

A Token of Appreciation: If you were delighted with your experience, a gratuity is a wonderful and direct way to thank your therapist for their skill, attention to detail, and dedicated care. Our therapists are passionate professionals who take great pride in their work, and your acknowledgment of their effort is always deeply valued.

Guideline for Gratuity: While it is never expected, clients often ask for a guideline. In the spa and wellness industry, the standard gratuity is typically between 15% and 20% of the original, non-discounted service price. However, this is purely a suggestion. We encourage you to tip based on your personal satisfaction and budget. Any amount that you feel reflects your experience is appropriate and will be graciously accepted by our team.

How to Leave a Gratuity: For your convenience, you have the option to add a gratuity to your credit or debit card payment during checkout. You can also provide a cash gratuity directly to your therapist or leave it with the front desk staff, who will ensure it is given to the correct individual. Please be assured that our primary goal is your happiness and well-being. The greatest compliment you can give us is to rebook your next appointment and recommend us to your friends and family.

To ensure a smooth and convenient checkout process, we accept a wide variety of payment methods. Our goal is to make every part of your visit, including payment, as effortless as possible.

• AuraGlow Studio Gift Certificates: If you are the lucky recipient of one of our gift certificates, it can be used just like cash towards any services or retail products. If your service total exceeds the gift certificate amount, you can simply pay the remaining balance with another accepted payment method. If the total is less, the remaining balance will stay on your certificate for future use.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) / Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): For certain services that may be considered therapeutic, such as massage therapy for pain management, you may be able to use your HSA or FSA card. Policies vary greatly by plan provider, so we strongly recommend confirming with your insurance or benefits administrator beforehand to see if our services qualify for reimbursement or direct payment. We are happy to provide a detailed receipt for your records upon request. At the conclusion of your visit, our front desk team will handle your payment discreetly and efficiently.
